DevOps Engineer - Cloud & On-Premise

About us‍

We build technology in two worlds that rarely share the same company: Move Solutions' IoT platform for structural monitoring of bridges, viaducts and critical infrastructure, and Move Silicon's product that automates analog circuit design (EDA / semiconductors).
Two products, two very different infrastructures, and that's exactly what makes this role interesting.

The role‍

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to work across both products, as part of a DevOps team that covers cloud, on-premise and HPC. You'll work in three worlds:

1. Cloud-native: Kubernetes on AWS, GitOps, sensor data ingestion in production.
2. On-premise at customer sites.
3. HPC and MLOps: a physical compute cluster with GPU nodes and an evolving MLOps stack.

You don't need to know everything on day one. What matters is a solid foundation and the drive to learn the rest, with the team alongside you.

What you'll do

• Manage and evolve the IoT platform's Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS with a GitOps approach.
• Own observability, alerting and data pipeline reliability.
• Design and carry out on-premise installations at customer sites.
• Administer the EDA product's HPC cluster.
• Contribute to the EDA product's MLOps stack.

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering roles.
• Kubernetes and Helm in production.
• AWS: EKS, IAM, networking, KMS/Secrets Manager.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals: subnetting, VPN, firewalls, DNS.
• CI/CD and GitOps as a way of working, not as buzzwords.
• Scripting (Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Autonomy, a documentation mindset, and willingness to work directly with customers.

Nice to have

• SLURM or other HPC schedulers, GPU node management.
• MLOps stack (Kubeflow, MLflow, KServe, vLLM).
• ArgoCD, ClickHouse, Flipt or other feature flag systems.
• FortiGate firewalls.
• Experience with ISO 27001 / NIS2 compliance programs.
• Background in IoT or EDA environments.

Il ruolo

Cerchiamo un/una DevOps Engineer che lavori in modo trasversale sui due prodotti, dentro un team DevOps che copre cloud, on-premise e HPC. Toccherai tre mondi:

1. Cloud-native: Kubernetes su AWS, GitOps, ingest di dati da sensori in produzione.

2. On-premise presso i clienti 

3. HPC e MLOps: un cluster di calcolo fisico con nodi GPU e uno stack MLOps in evoluzione.

Non serve arrivare sapendo già tutto: serve una base solida e la voglia di coprire il resto, con il team accanto.

Cosa farai

- Gestire ed evolvere l'infrastruttura Kubernetes su AWS della piattaforma IoT con approccio GitOps.

- Curare observability e alerting e l'affidabilità delle pipeline dati.

- Progettare ed eseguire installazioni on-premise presso i clienti.

- Amministrare il cluster HPC del prodotto EDA.

- Contribuire allo stack MLOps del prodotto EDA.

Cosa cerchiamo

- 2–4 anni in ruoli DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering.

- ArgoCD, ClickHouse, Flipt o altri sistemi di feature flag.

- Firewall FortiGate.

- Esperienza in percorsi ISO 27001 / NIS2.

- Background in contesti IoT o EDA.
